The following is an example of emails that are sent out to encourage Brats to 'get together' in between reunion gigs or during the years no official reunion had been organised(there have only been 2 years without) This particular email was a call out from Steve Jonesy Jones who holidays every year at Coolangatta and loves to catch up with his Brat mates.
Incidently, Jonesy has never missed an ANZMBOS Reunion since their beginnings in 2001...he is - 'the one and only'.
"Just to let everyone know, and hopefully generate a bit of interest, the annual "Coolangatta Beach Cricket Weekend" will be held 25th to 27th of May '12. Same tried and tested itinerary, Fri night Barby at Swanny's Poolside Shack, (Ocean Plaza Hotel) followed by sing-along 70's style, upstairs. Sat beach cricket, as always, is compulsory.
Sat night dinner at Greenmount Surf club with "Swanny's Awards" and Ricey's trivia night back at the unit.
Traditional Sunday brunch at Kirra Surf.
It's always a brilliant weekend so hopefully see as many of you there as possible.
Also a few of the brats are getting together in Brisbane Fri 17th Feb at the Normamby Hotel for no particular reason.
