In 1980 the Primary School in Tengah was closed down, leaving Woodlands as the only Primary and High School for NZ Force South East Asia dependants and the school was now known as NZ Force School, Sembawang
NZ Force South East Asia remained in theatre until 1989 when the doors to the school known as NZ Services School, Woodlands and NZ Force School, Sembawang closed for the last time.
This was the end of the Australian, New Zealand and United Kingdom's long occupation of Singapore.
